Pinkston Watersports

<?php the_title(); ?>

Next month the 150th Explorers along with some of the older Scouts due to go up to Explorers shortly will be going to Pinkston Watersports
Centre in the north of Glasgow.

The centre consists of a big outdoor clean water basin suitable for
canoeing, kayaking and other watersports plus an exciting artificial white
water course – the first in Scotland.

Tuesdays have been block booked by Clyde Region for Scout Group use
and we have secured a 2 hour slot from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday 28th
April.

Cost for the trip will be £5 per Scout/Explorer and includes equipment and
instructors. Full payment is required by 27th March along with a
completed Permission and Health Information Form.

The centre is located on the Forth and Clyde Canal near Speir’s Wharf in
North Glasgow. The full address is: Pinkston Watersports, 75 North Canal
Bank St, Glasgow, G4 9XP.

We should have space in leaders’ cars to take everyone over and back so
the plan just now is to meet at the hall about 5.30pm, but we’ll confirm
this closer to the time once we’ve got final numbers etc
