NEXT YEAR THE 150th ARE GOING TO SWITZERLAND!
We have looked at various options and decided to fly to Switzerland for 10 days camping in the Kandersteg International Scout Centre. KISC is known as being a permanent mini-jamboree as Scouts from around the world visit it throughout the year. In the summertime it can fill with up 1,400 scouts. It is situated in the Bernese Oberland, one of the most spectacular regions of the European Alps. This makes it the perfect base for mountain activities and sight-seeing. Check out www.kisc.ch to see the huge range of activities we have to choose from
We have planned the trip to cost approximately £850. This includes flights, transfers, trips, activities, camping fees, food, hoodie, polo shirt, fun, excitement etc. We hope to be able to reduce the cost by fundraising events beginning with our May bag packing. If you are able to help us raise funds please get in touch.
If your Scout/Explorer wants to take part in this fabulous trip we require a deposit of £100 by the end of April. This will allow us to secure our booking for the beginning of July 2016.
Our planned timeline for payments is
Initial payment of £100 by end of April 2015
2nd payment October 2015,
3rd payment February 2015
Final payment May 2016
However we would be happy to receive interim payments whenever you wish to make them.
